Taking Flight...

Somewhere, not long ago my passion for photography took flight and intersected with a keen interest in birds. Although I have a background as a Natural Resource Specialist, my career was primarily in fire control. I lay no claim to being a "birder" and often find myself stumped as to what 'species', 'family' or 'order' the creature I am viewing belongs to. Thankfully I enjoy research and usually stumble on the correct identification.
